As a verifiable random number generator, Chainlink VRF solves the problem of blockchain randomness by combining the block data that is still unknown when the request is made with the pre-committed oracle node’s private key to generate random numbers and cryptographic evidence. The Metastocks smart contract will only accept random number input if it has a valid cryptographic proof, and the cryptographic proof can only be generated if the VRF process is anti-malicious.
